Agreed but would have been nice to see if he could develop like a lot of linemen in year 3

the issue with that thinking is if we fire Pruitt tomorrow the next coach unless he’s hired immediately wouldn’t even get a chance to make such a pitch

that’s why I think this needs to wait another week. Get these players in classes so they have to stay this semester and let the new coach have plenty of time

Nothing against your observation but we necessarily didn’t have the best OL coach money could buy. I would start there.

I undertake its “shady” but at this point the university at least deserves the opportunity to rerecruit them. They can leave in the summer just the same

Our offense was 13th in the SEC last year and we've now lost 6 starters to the portal and others to the draft. No major influx of talent, no change in system.

We're going to be really bad. We could have stopped the bleeding had we fired and hired by now.

Stephens touched the football 525 times during his career (runs, catches, returns) producing 2811 total yards and 22 tds.
Ty touched it 514 times during his career producing 3291 yards and 17 tds.

So you are incorrect.
Travis was a very good back. Ty was as well and didn't have the benefit of solid QB play and good OLs to run behind.

Their careers are viewed differently because of their teams success. Not what they produced when given the opportunity.

Travis Stephens 1st team AA is senior season. Holds the single season UT rushing record.

Ty Chandler - Lost his starting job as a Senior.

Chandler comparable to Stephens ?
