We book through VRBO and usually stay in Destin, PCB, or Ft. Walton. Ft. Walton is a little less hectic, and is close enough to Destin to go shopping or eat out. If you have small kids Destin West is a good choice. If you want to be less crowded, Santa Rosa Blvd. has some nice condos. Good luck! Also, the Swoop 2 is a fun fishing charter.Had to cancel trip to Emerald Bay, Bahamas in March. Thinking of going to Destin, never been. Is the first of March a good time to go? Best places to stay?

So if I’m reading this correctly, the administration has decided to bring Pruitt back? Then they really need to put something out there public saying that because this has all gone far beyond our message board bubble. No, the problem was bringing in outside counsel to run a deep investigation. That takes time. When you turn things over to legal, you follow their process on their timeline.
They have a decision. They made it months ago. The investigation had the potential to change the decision. But they never needed that. Any coach on staff can be fired at any time, regardless of findings. They could have cleaned house in November and moved forward with a clean slate. That was not their decision. They could start firing next week or the week after or the week after that.
UT is moving forward. Fans and media continue to speculate while UT goes about business. The coaches are recruiting, in addition to having to re-recruit our own players. And some of them want to be re-recruited like they're a prize recruit. It's ridiculous. But you reap what you sow. And now we're reaping.

Makes sense... while I think it would be helpful for the entire situation for CJP or Fulmer to send some type of public message, they really have done just what you detailed:No, the problem was bringing in outside counsel to run a deep investigation. I understand the frustration but I will never hope we fail.... lose recruits.... transfers..... or not be there to support the Vols if I am able to be there.True fans have to stick together and cheer on the vols. Not hope for the worst just because we don’t like the head football coach who’s working his rear end off for this football program.
Then current and potential players need to be made aware that he's definitely returning because the uncertainty they feel about it is absolutely hurting us.
Sounds about right. No, the problem was bringing in outside counsel to run a deep investigation. That takes time. When you turn things over to legal, you follow their process on their timeline.

I've heard a lot of people here say "why cant we have nice things". Well, I say why cant we have a dislike button here. Not true. A lot of folks, especially on this site, were drinking the cool aid and saying Pruitt should be coach of the year. Of course none of you sheep will admit it, but it happened.
Smart, loyal, and funny! Think I'm going to get another.Gotcha. Couldn’t quite tell all his features. Best dogs on the planet!!

I’ve been frustrated as well. Who wouldn’t be after a 3-7 season? I truly believe corona had a major impact on the development of this football program as a whole. The trajectory of the program after Pruitt’s first two years was upward. Let’s add a couple key pieces to the staff in Steele and Garner, have solid quarterback play, bring in another solid recruiting class, and let the chips fall where they may next season. I happen to think a lot of people will be pleasantly surprised with how next season turns out.I understand the frustration but I will never hope we fail.... lose recruits.... transfers..... or not be there to support the Vols if I am able to be there.
I wish that we could get a 100% honest assessment of where Knoxville/UT are compared to Tuscaloosa/UA. From school, to boosters, to city, to businesses, to legal, police, media... etc etcTo get to the level we want to be.... we have to get the school, administration, academic side, the city and everyone going in the same direction..... get solid football players with a few stars sprinkled and when we reach a certain level.... 5* will be dying to come here.
no, they don't. if nothing is being done, what are they supposed to do? stand up at a press conference and say "we're here just to let you know nothing has changed, questions?"So if I’m reading this correctly, the administration has decided to bring Pruitt back?
