lol.Our offensive scheme sucks. DId we even avg 20pts a game this year? if we want to compete with the big boys i think we are gonna need an offense than can score 40 when necessary. We dont have anything close to that right now. These defensive minded guys need to realize that offenses are extremely powerful now and the whole "defense wins championships" isnt true anymore.
Biggest group of losers this University has seen.View attachment 339673

On behalf of the Tennessee fan base, thanks for freeing up our Saturday's in the fall.
Roy Exum: Vols’ Scathing Survey
Posted in the FF. Damn. Only 60% of Vol fans think Pruitt should be fired.
That's why I just can't get that mad if they keep him. I can't blame them. How can you resist when your fan base is full of Cubs fans? Ooooh well.
I wouldn’t count on the developing part..at least at QBThis is actually pretty easy now I think. If he isn't fired Monday, move on. Im hyped to watch Salter tear it up in about 2 hours and then turn to Spring Ball. We will be awful next year, but at least we will get to see the likes of Salter & a few others develop.
Right. The guy is expending every ounce of energy he has to get this program fixed. Let’s support the guy.Wow. That’s surprising. Put me on the 40% side.
I feel like I am one of the Russians watching Rocky Balboa take shot after shot. I hated him when this fight started but after seeing how hard he’s fighting to make this place a winner I have been won over. Just like the crowd with Rocky in Russia that movie.
I also remember this board going crazy over Hubbs saying Pruitt didn’t care about this job and he’d just go back to bama and be happy. Well he damn sure is showing that narrative was false!
....according to you...........lol.1. It affected everyone in the world, some handled it better than others. We handled it worse than most, that is inexcusable.
2. The impact on spring/summer/fall workouts would have made more sense if we had started out rough, but then improved. The exact opposite was true.
3. The worst aspects of our team on field were a 5th year senior QB, and starting OL made up mostly of upperclassmen. The youth excuse is no longer valid either.
These are facts.
Thats fair. Qb was a big problem. Offensive line never progressed throughout the season. The WRs were a mystery in terms of rotation and starters. Yes QB play can impact that but when the ball hits your hands you are supposed to catch it. We had a starter all year that had trouble catching balls. didnt make sense to me on why he started. anyways i digress. QB coach needs to go but im sure our awesome Head Coach will reup his contract because he is a "great teacher" of the game.lol.
err'body forgets #2. now it's the "scheme's" fault.
jeez. our qb play was soooooooooooo abysmal....we had a qb that in each of the seasons he's played here, has given up a 100 yard turnover for a score. ever year. 3 times.
who does that? our QB situation was directly responsible for at least 4 or 5 games being losses.....
but it's the scheme? ok. there's plenty of things you can criticize the coaches for in regards to the QB and the issues it presented.
but to say if we ran some other scheme, the result would be different...is laughable.

NO im not falling for that crap. This team jumped off a cliff in terms of playing bad after getting beat down by Georgia. That had nothing to do with Spring Practice, Summer workouts. That has to do with effort and this team had none once the going got tuff. Austin Pope said it best. The players didnt care to lose. They just laughed and brushed it off. These guys do not truly care about that T on their helmet and it shows. No spring practice, no summer workouts, and no fall practice had a negative impact. Especially with a young football team. It’s just a fact.
either way, if we had just adequate qb play the past 3 years...not great...not even really good...just adequate........the whole perception of this program is different than it is right now.Thats fair. Qb was a big problem. Offensive line never progressed throughout the season. The WRs were a mystery in terms of rotation and starters. Yes QB play can impact that but when the ball hits your hands you are supposed to catch it. When we don’t make a bowl game next year will you ban yourself from this site?I’ve been frustrated as well. Who wouldn’t be after a 3-7 season? I truly believe corona had a major impact on the development of this football program as a whole. The trajectory of the program after Pruitt’s first two years was upward. Let’s add a couple key pieces to the staff in Steele and Garner, have solid quarterback play, bring in another solid recruiting class, and let the chips fall where they may next season. I happen to think a lot of people will be pleasantly surprised with how next season turns out.
Sooo nobody knows **** essentially?A key thing to remember: the Chancellor's goal and the primary goal of counsel is to protect and defend the university. This is a deep investigation, following an internal investigation. That's two months of digging. Personnel deemed to be a legal liability to the university would have restricted responsibilities to protect the university. So I'd view all "info" through that lens.
