I’ve always liked Pruitt. Really hope he pulls it off

I care about wins and losses. So I have no faith he will be successful. But for the sake of our program, if he is retained, I hope he does well too and turns it around. I’m tired of sucking.

An even more obvious point is that if he was certainly coming back, why not feed that info to all of the journalists from Feldman, Low, Hubbs, etc... and stop the speculation.

The fact that they haven’t done that is absolutely indicative that he either isn’t returning or the final decision hasn’t been made or that we are run by imbeciles of the highest order and coaching is the least of our concern.

Maybe Pruitt opens it up and switches to more spread next year. Chaney has run it in the past. We will obviously be run first always, but we can still make major changes. If we upgrade with Steele, Gardner, and a great secondary coach (Ansley leaves) then our defensive coaching got 1000 times better.

Yep. Pruitt needs to find someone from the NFL to bring in to replace Weinke, or just replace Chaney altogether with someone young and innovative. Problem is, if he’s making Chaney run twice, pa, punt, then I’m not sure it matters
