I call BS. JG tried desperately to get other QBs ready - hence the Sunday night scrimmages. He was frustrated with the offense and made comments during PCs about how he didnt understand why they don’t run the plays they practice. This is directly from an offensive coach on our staff who is more tenured than your guy, clearly. I’m tired of hearing random forum members say it isn’t true!

The Sunday scrimmages started after Kentucky when JG gave the game away and we hadn’t gotten any other QBs ready. Bailey should have been given all the reps from day one and started day one. And even AP said it took others above Pruitt to finally get a change at QB. We had plenty of bye weeks to start another QB and we didn’t until the fans were out and the season was a dumpster fire.

I meant now after all this......right now we look like we don’t support the program..... won’t give coaches time to rebuild( could have explained this one if handled right)..... trump up an investigation bc we are too cheap to pay a coach........ we need to make our school look like it is an Alabama type program that is ready to take off...... instead we look like a dysfunctional, inept mess that is a coaches graveyard..... someone asked earlier why a 4*/5* recruit want to come here..... why would a promising coach want to come here?

I will always root for UT no matter who the coach is. Doesn’t mean I can’t question the coaching job of Pruitt. If he comes back, I’ll pray like hell he figures it out.

If Garner is coming, I have confidence he can get the defense to a solid place. The offensive side has been his Achilles heel, specifically the QB position. Having a difference maker there, and most importantly not #2, could make huge difference.

Agree if Pruitts back and we hire Gardner I think we see major improvement. Just look at the upgrades on D. My guess is Pruitt and Ansley had to help with every position on D this previous year.
