I call BS. JG tried desperately to get other QBs ready - hence the Sunday night scrimmages. He was frustrated with the offense and made comments during PCs about how he didnt understand why they don’t run the plays they practice. This is directly from an offensive coach on our staff who is more tenured than your guy, clearly. I’m tired of hearing random forum members say it isn’t true!

Not sure anyone has jumped ship. We weren’t going to renew Friend’s contract, we fired Brumbaugh, Nieds is out due to investigation. We haven’t lost anyone else yet

An even more obvious point is that if he was certainly coming back, why not feed that info to all of the journalists from Feldman, Low, Hubbs, etc... and stop the speculation.

The fact that they haven’t done that is absolutely indicative that he either isn’t returning or the final decision hasn’t been made or that we are run by imbeciles of the highest order and coaching is the least of our concern.

I’m all aboard the fire Fulmer train,
But he at least knows that as for as keeping the kids we have and getting a staff together and getting a few good transfers would be 100 times easier with this settled.
No way he lets all this speculation go a minute longer if he knew Pruitt was coming back, or he’s really dumb.

I don’t want to lose him!

He interviewed in the middle of the week. Without clarification on what the future holds here, he wanted to give himself options in case things didn’t go the way he hoped they would. IMO, he will be back if JP is back. He hasn’t been offered the UCF job at this point.

We’ve got Steele, probably going to get Garner. I bet Big Kat is coming. We have a chance to be better if we have a normal offseason.

If Garner is coming, I have confidence he can get the defense to a solid place. The offensive side has been his Achilles heel, specifically the QB position. Having a difference maker there, and most importantly not #2, could make huge difference.

I meant now after all this......right now we look like we don’t support the program..... won’t give coaches time to rebuild( could have explained this one if handled right)..... trump up an investigation bc we are too cheap to pay a coach........ we need to make our school look like it is an Alabama type program that is ready to take off...... instead we look like a dysfunctional, inept mess that is a coaches graveyard..... someone asked earlier why a 4*/5* recruit want to come here..... why would a promising coach want to come here?
