I feel like a giant loser for saying this, but at least we had a ****** decade while it was nearly impossible to win a title because of Bama. It would be a much harder pill to swallow if there were no great teams and any team had a legitimate shot at winning the title. Kind of like when Durant joined GS--nobody was winning the title for those 2 years.

Get your facts straight. Look at my posts. Literally the first one says giving a scholarship back to a guy who has 7 catches in 4 years. So yeah, reading comprehension would make the argument that he is not good. No one is moving the goal posts youre just being too lazy to go back and read exactly what I said.
He allows our run game to be MUCH better though which is more important than catches. Also hard to be critical when JG was the QB. Hell, Princeton Fant looked serviceable with a new QB.

Pope is also a leader and is annoyed with laziness in the locker room. You're just wrong on this one, man. We need his attitude, leadership, and blocking. I bet he'll have plenty more catches with HB at the helm as well.

For a Pruitt hugger, AP sure is suddenly sounding shakier. Couple of less definitive answers tonight.

Are the Vols looking to sign anyone on NSD?? Malone? Go back in on a former commit that didn’t sign??

Surprised nothing is happening before the team meeting, but I get not making a decision of this magnitude when you can enjoy the holiday and a day off

Hyams source is the Haslam family, I know that as fact. Because when Trey Wallace was screaming the Haslam family loaned UT it's plane to get Gruden, Hyams quickly debunked that and like you said everyone called him a know nothing clown.
Got ya, for some reason I thought it was the Haslam Family
But I thought you knew that as fact?

Dude has had multiple back surgeries. Should probably just give up football.

It's hard for us to comment as we are not in his shoes. But he obviously loves the game and is damn trying his hardest to make it in the NFL in some role. Hell, Jakob Johnson plays in the league. Nothing but respect for him busting his ass for UT

AP said Marrone is a possibility to be Bama OL coach. A poster asked if he could be OL coach at UT and AP said no, HC if he comes to Knoxville.

That’s the difference in the two programs these days.
There's myriad issues. Our chancellor holds our President and athletics by the nuzzles.

You can T row in opposing directions and expect to win. You also cant expect to shop in the bargain bin at the flea market for coaches. I mean we all loved that goofy 80's movie when it came out, but now? It's outdated, theres a reason why people dont wear popped collars and stone washed jeans anymore.

But, our offense...

NFL teams are interviewing and hiring young innovative guys like Staley and Joe brady, but some on this board and our admin think coaching candidates need to have 25 years of SEC experience to be worth hiring.
NFL give these type of coaches a chance because they have a front office managing team. In the SEC a lot more goes into being a head coach with recruiting and managing the team.

Also Pruitt was a young innovated defensive mind with no HC experience.

In all seriousness, I think we hear some whispers today... probably from both conclusions, and some type of announcement from UT tomorrow announcing a firing or results from investigation while backing Pruitt
Prob so. I have decided that both outcomes sre equally bad. Short term, if CJP is fired for cause, the penalties associated with that, prob mean scolly redux and 1 yr bowl ban. Then we are rolling with Chadwell, but more likely Marrone...ugh!

Scenario 2, CJP is here for 2 more meh years, unless he goes 4-8 next season. I think we all know Pruitt at his best wins 7 games a year.
