The last one is more of a belief on my part than anything. He'd be "coming home" (kind of like he did to USC). The expectation is that this time around he wouldn't do poorly enough to get himself tarmac-fired. You're right that he's generally flighty, but also I think he's looking for a place to land and build his legacy.
You write up a contract that benefits you and give him a lot of money. Make sure his buyout for leaving is ENORMOUS!!
Also, I feel we should spam the hell outta state run just to hear them squirm. They're talking coaching hires. We all just need to call in a suggest Kiffin to hear Rice and Ainge get all in their feelings..
Napier apparently is going to try and wait it out for LSU, Florida, Clemson, or Alabama.
As for me and my house - we have forgiven Kiffin and want the prodigal to come home. Some of UT's financial fathers may not agree.
Does anyone really think a decent coach is going to accept a 3 year deal with possible heavy sanctions hanging over the program? My thinking is they’ll have to get a guy on the cheap for a 3 year deal, a up and comer. Or offer a 5 year deal to a decent P5 coach. Maybe the boosters already have all that worked out, but man it has to be a hard sell right now.
Sounds like my soon to be ex wife. Blame everyone expect the person actually responsible for the dysfunction.Hey @Atlanta VOL you and your boys got us in this mess y’all better get us tf out of it.

Lane Kiffin back to Tennessee? ESPN’s Chris Low says Kiffin is ‘worth kicking the tires for’
That’ll sell him.To add to this...If Stoops says no, ask 2 more times. If he says no 2 more times, offer a 10 year $60 million deal to Kiffin, and he has to pay the remaining contract as a buyout if he leaves early, while our side of the buyout is $5 million at all times. Tell him since him jetting after a year started all of this, then that’s the least he can do.
