Here is what you want. Mark Ingram for AD. He is incredible. Look at his record. He would be AD for YEARS and YEARS. Dream job.

HC wise will depend on AD. I like Lane with Steele as DC. Haslems with Manning leading search. Haslems close with Lane.
I would take that in a heart beat.

Yep. Get it all out now. The candidates for the job will have to know anyway
I’d rather not throw any of the 18 year old player we are going to need under the bus for making dumb choices provided/encouraged to them by the very people they should be looking upto for guidance. At this point if there’s stuff that’s not known by the NCAA, keep it that way instead of trying to make the process worse for UT, new Coach, and most importantly the players involved.

I’m back for the coaching search boys. Couldn’t miss it.

Yes please, and hang on for the ride!

I am worried about Kiffin not signing his extension yet. Originally when I thought it was signed, I didn’t think there would be much of a way he could be playing us for more from Ole Miss. but now, I think it is 50/50 that he wants to milk more from Ole Miss or is truly interested. And I don’t like those odds. It is setting Tennessee up for egg in its face and Kiffin grinning ear to ear that he played us twice.

Please please make this happen. That would be a dream scenario for most fans.

You’re absolutely right.I am so mad with the praise they heaped on him yesterday.
Get his glad-handing ass out of the office and away from this program.

He’s so out of touch and has been for 20 years.

Thanks for the past but move out of the way and let’s work on now and the future.

Yes I’m being harsh but turning to him as AD was a major blunder. But it’s no shock coming from the people who have been continuously effing things up
I'd have a lot more respect for Phil if he showed some humility at some point in the past. Even if it was years too late. He's never seemed to have an attitude of "Look, I had a lot of success a long time ago, but for whatever reason it seems like times and the game have passed me by. I'll always be a supporter of UT, but there are people who are better skilled and in a better position than me to make decisions at this point." I don't think Phil ever, ever, has believed that about himself. And I don't think this Pruitt debacle has changed his mind.

That whole "I never planned to stay as AD" line is complete bulls**t. He signed a contract extension earlier this year. If the university would have him, he'd stay here until he was 95 and had to be wheeled in in a wheelchair.

Mike Detilier on Basilio saying Napier would seriously listen if Peyton Manning weighed in and gave him some assurances of support.
control.

which ain't happening. Napier is not coming here. Kiffin and Freeze are untouchable with the "integrity" angle....but if i had my choice, i'd bring kiffing back in NY minute. he'd be #1 on my list....but my list means jack squat.

chadwell starts to make sense if your committing yourself to a long term hire, because you know that the first few years are gonna be rocky (no pun intended), so that buys him time that he probably doesn't get under "normal" circumstances. plus he'd likely be amiable to inheriting a coach or two. there are others that will fit this same description....you can hire him, or guy like him, and realistically tell fans, "hey, we're committed to this coach, we're all understanding that we're going to have to be patient as he builds this program"...

of course the caveat to all that is if the AD is on board. they could go the veteran route with O'brien or marrone, assuming either is available and interested.

past that i think you just work yourself down the list a bit, and while it won't ever be popular, you could make a case for Steele being a very comfortable hire for the admin when all is said and done....i'm not trying to talk anyone in to that mind you.

first things first, let's get an AD hired.

Let the important people know if they want a sold out Neyland hire Kiffin or Freeze

If some of you chuckleheads wouldn’t engage with obvious troll Bruin.... then some of us cool people would log in and find ourselves only 25 instead of 45 pages behind just because we weren’t on the forum for 6 hours.

Be better.
Let's just all agree to jump on the Lane Train and railroad Bruin into oblivion

I’d hope names don’t come out

Basilio just said. First of all Kirby and Pruitt use to hang out in the off season. The guy Kirby really hates is Mullen.
B) He said Kirby tipped this whole thing off because of Mims.
Florida is also a much, much bigger threat to Georgia than Tennessee is. Regardless if Florida has a coach Kirby personally dislikes or not.
