Dang. Was hoping new AD would be announced this week to stop the bleeding. Good news on Clark. Last thing we need is another gump in Knoxville. Ingram would be a grand slam AD hire. Hopefully its him.

I really hope its Ingram. Fell like we just need a fresh face in there instead of someone that has been in the program the last 10 years

She definitely is a leader and possesses a lot of good qualities. However, I was not a fan of some of that moral high ground stuff that she used in her speech. Don’t set that precedent. We have to compete in the toughest, most competitive conference in the country, let’s not pretend we’re not going to get back in the mud again. AV has even already alluded to it.

Dang. I was hoping to have some good news by this weekend. Lord knows our fanbase needs it. But, next week isn’t horrible. Still faster than probably most of our searches.

I want Ingram like most here but I don’t think the mud slinging toward Gilbert is fair. Sure he was at Bama for a long period of time but that was a long time ago AND his son wears orange and white now. Barnes is the best thing our university has going now and if he wants him that’s good enough for me

They have been talking to coaches and **** already according to ATL, weeks ago, apparently, so why do we need to wait till late next week to hire a AD. Both should be done next week. Period.

I think given the reason we were firing Pruitt, she kind of had to say that stuff. It would be odd, especially to the national media folks who love to take shots at bad programs, to not address "winning with integrity" at a press conference where you are firing your coach for cheating. They need to pay lip service to it (i.e., we'll find somebody who cheats more discreetly this time). I bet if Pruitt was fired without cause, they wouldn't have run it into the ground like they did.
