Confused about one thing: how in the hell have these kids in the portal made restitution payments for their improper benefits? They are ineligible until they do so (exception if it's an academic benefit per §16). These kids were getting THOUSANDS of dollars. This assumes those in the portal did, in fact, receive impermissible benefits. Maybe the money was given to their families?

They're screwed either way and if any school plays them while they have the potential to be ineligible, they would most likely vacate any wins the players participated in. Gonna be interesting to see if anyone risks that scenario.

The flight trackers have really disappointed this time around. Like I said most boring coaching search ever!

I mag be alone here but if this purge gets us back to a team that plays good, consistent, even competitive football, then so be it.

These were some of the best players on the team. This doesn't do that, it just makes it more difficult to play good, consistent or competitive football. We are so screwed. I think the ceiling with a name hire will be top 30 recruiting class. We are in a seriously bad position, think walk-ons in the two deep bad.
