Program needs a good bowel movement. That includes malcontent, selfish players, too. Everytime we went in somewhere to build a HS program the best thing that happened was graduation. Roll with the young guys, the fresh faces, the ones that are hungry and don't have a built in sense of comfort and entitlement. We all need to hang tough for a few weeks and let the toilet finish flushing. Hire the right coach and the transfer portal opens both ways.

that’s really not accurate.
We have no idea what their eligibility is going to be. Even if they got benefits they can repay them and serve a short suspension.

I don’t get why people read a post and run with it as truth. We have no idea folks
I see what your saying but the fact of the matter is even with these transfers, the roster that butch left is still worse than what we are at right now.

Here’s a statement from their website describing what they do:

Bond’s Collegiate Sports Practice is seasoned in helping clients navigate the enforcement process. When we find that evidence of a violation is lacking, we defend that position. When we find that a violation has occurred or that an allegation is justified, we say so; then we help our client improve its programs for promoting and monitoring compliance. We’ve seen how acting swiftly, investigating thoroughly, acknowledging violations and implementing corrective actions can:
• Help prevent future violations.
Mitigate the penalties.
• Boost a client’s capacity to move forward.
• Protect the reputation of the institution and its athletics program.

Here’s their website if you’d like to poke around:

I looked them up.... seems like they may have helped in the Oregon case but they absolutely sucked in the Missouri academic case..... I have also read when I was searching through these issues that more and more schools are deciding to hunker down and fight allegations.... They are hiring firms like the glazier to fight allegations not to self investigate and tell on ourselves.... one case is Bill self.... they are fighting like crazy and admitting nothing.

I’m actually taking his radio silence as a good thing .......and likely an indication that wheels are in motion right now regarding the hiring of the new AD.

This sounds like a lot of comments during the last 4 coaching searches but I do appreciate the attempted optimism.

Also, I just logged back on after several hours away. Playing catch up and all this is hitting me at once like a Mack truck barreling over the center line. I may be a bit emotional because I love Vol football.

All of this can be resolved if plowman hires the right AD and HC. From what AV stated all this lines up. Relax everyone
How many times have we heard that? Seriously, forget FU money...... Show me something.

That statement isn't a shot at AtlVol but I don't believe anything positive as it relates to Tennessee right now until I see it.

Eh, Kiffin inherited a roster here that had 2 walk-on starters on each side of the ball and he still made a bowl. Make the right hire and we’ll be alright.
There was talent on that team, when it's all said and done I don't think that will be the case next year.

We better absolutely knock this hire out of the park, cause if not TN FOOTBALL will never recover. Not in my lifetime anyways.

I’ve never seen a program get to this point, maybe SMU. If the NCAA makes an example out of us, it’s over.

Today is one of the worse days I’ve ever witnessed in Sports. Period.

Talk about DIRE STRAIGHTS
I have been trying to tell them...
