The best chance for keeping kids here before the new coach was hired was fulmer. He had a chance to calm the emotions and make the players feel like he had a plan. Obviously that didn’t happen and when it didn’t we are just buying time until the head coach is hired

that’s really not accurate.
We have no idea what their eligibility is going to be. Even if they got benefits they can repay them and serve a short suspension.

Eh, Kiffin inherited a roster here that had 2 walk-on starters on each side of the ball and he still made a bowl. Make the right hire and we’ll be alright.

Teams can only sign 25 players and that includes transfers. Many of our guys will have to stay just because of numbers unless they want to go to FCS teams.
