How much hammering? They miss a bowl and...what? The only example of a death penalty in CFB history occurred because the AD and bigwigs denied everything and got busted live in local television by Dale Hansen. SMU here in Dallas if you’re a different generation.Missouri is the latest example to contrary..... they complied turned it over bc an advisor did some work for kids thinking they would get it easier.... they were pissed bc the NCAA hit them hard for the offense committed while auburn buys a national championship with cam newton and got nothing.
I lurk in there every once in a while just never post.Correct. I’m in Memphis, working planes over the mid-state.
Best of luck. Come hang out with me and @Tri-CitiesVol in the Pub if you want to talk aviation.
Y’all some chicken littles. These players won 3 games. A good coach could easily make a bowl (I know probably bowl ban but just saying) next year. We have a two QBs with promise on the roster still. Stop crying over transfers, only Kevin Steele as HC could kill the program.
Dang manBob Stoops would be like hitting a grand slam in the bottom of the 9th with two outs in Game 7 of the World Series.
Except in this circumstance, Tennessee isn't the New York Yankees. Tennessee is the New York Mets.
So, essentially what I'm saying is that this is a pipe dream and this is not going to happen.

We had better save the $12 million buyout after all of this mess!! It’s going to cost us 2-3x that by the time this is all said and done. Would have been way cheaper to uncover a few of the infractions, tell Pruitt he’s in trouble, but we can make it go away if he wants to negotiate a buyout. Pay him $6 million, get a slap on the wrist, fire Phil (which is what happened anyways), and go hire a great AD and HC without losing half of our starters, and without getting the NCAA hammer come down on us. As always, Tennessee does everything the hard, stupid way!Donde says it ain't happening. I'm sure legal told them UT have a strong case to not pay it. And yes, if there are illegalities I would hold them over his head and tell him to go pound sand.
I decided to make a graph of salaries versus this last season's Sagarin rating.
Basically, those on the right side of the point cloud are those that are underpaid relative to how well they did last year.
Lot of familiar names that we've batted around, but this gives you a way to visualize how much of steal Chadwell, Liepold, Fickell, and Campbell are.
And you can see that UT basically got what it paid for, a coach drawing a middle of the pack salary pulling down meh results. This tells me that he must have been a regal prick and the violations substantial for them to pull the plug, because the admin basically could have written this season off as a fluke because of COVID and the SEC schedule.
Also, how annoyed would you be if you were a Michigan fan?
