Holy moly. White was being paid over a million dollars at UCF, which was the highest at any public school in Florida. Are we going to pay him 2.5+?

If what was said earlier about taking 24 months to go through all of the evidence is true, I say that it’ll be almost forgotten about and swept under the rug by then.

I mean I can't really explain it. I guess he's been out of the game for a while, not sure he would be great today. not to mention he's a defensive guy and we need offense in today's league. I just don't really think that highly of him. I think he was in a good spot at OU with little competition and did well. Not sure he could repeat that here.

Interesting, I have him up there with Chris Petersen and Gruden. They're white whale hires to me. Even if they ended up not being amazing it's a grand slam that shows we're serious about being serious.

I worked with the women’s soccer & rowing team during my intern w/ the strength staff, no stone left unturned.

Emphasis on winning. The smallest teams had his full support. He made himself visible and accessible

He didn’t pull, he pushed. Every step of the way he was behind helping us build winners

White has a 30 minute talk with the team, he ends it by saying he will have a football coach for them soon. He walks out of the room, before the door shuts Kiffin walks in. The team breaks every piece of furniture in the meeting room.

That last sentence literally happened when Kiffin and Ed O were here. Ed through a projector through the hotel conference room wall.

No chance we get him, but let’s be real here.

The guy has a national championship and won the conference 11 out 18 years. He wouldn’t have to repeat it, all he’d have to do is 50% of that and we’d be happy.

He’s every bit the coach Jimbo is and look where they are now.

That legacy has a deep dark stain on it. Which he created. He’s robbed this university for enough money.

His first year he got to UCF they were 0-12. The next year he hired Frost and they are 47-15 since.

Pretty sure there are a lot of coaches out there that felt this way.. I think that hurt us last time around too.

Something that isn't adding up in my head still is the Steele hire.

Did they do this randomly and just allow it or was there a master plan.

Does a new coach come in and keep him and add Garner (or does Steele hire him now)?

Was this all already discussed?

Seems odd that Steele would come here just to be let go.

But again maybe they really didn't know and thought PF and JP were going to be here long term.

Something just doesn't add up.
