I'm way behind, but I seem to recall AV saying some time ago we wouldn't all begin rowing in the same direction or attempt to make a move to join the likes of Bama, etc until Saban steps down. Maybe Saban is nearing enough to retirement and that combined with our current situation has dictated NOW is that time. We now ALL need to move in the same direction, begin building a foundation toward the direction of Bama, Georgia, and the like. I sense that the iron is now hot and the time is right, we must strike w everything we've got. Leave no stone unturned and allow no dollar amount as a limitation. Go Vols!

My line of work leads to relatively frequent transitions and involves situations where people donate money; some significant amounts. Inevitably with ever transition there is an initial decline in donations because of trust with my predecessor. However, I have found that if you do your job correctly you either get those people back or new people come along that more than cover the initial decline.

If White does his job correctly then these pissed of money people won't be a problem.

And, oh yeah, screw Hyams!!

Campbell is the best potential hire I think we could make. Although not sure he listens to an offer from us.

I'm not sure who else Smyrna is referring to. I'd put Campbell on a tier by himself followed by some smattering of Fleck/Kiffin.
