No it's not. Don't worry about it. Verbal agreements mean nothing. I've told me friends plenty of time "I'll give you one million dollars if X, Y, or Z happens." I'd be broke if I was forced to pay that out!

It's written in Hyamsese, but maybe there is an actual contract. The tweet says that Tee/Phil had a verbal agreement, but that Tee "has yet to sign it." Is it verbal or written?

The saving grace there might be that Plowman hasn't signed off, and won't sign off.

DW is going to want to succeed. His track record and all the public testimony so far tell us that.

Whatever his decision on coaches, clearly it will be made with winning "on and off the field" in view. In taking this job, he is stepping up to the risk. We are hot mess as a school. Our reputation is a dumpster fire. His reputation as an AD is on the line. I think for that reason, whatever coach he calls up is getting my support. Even if it's not an immediate homerun name.

After what we've been through as fans, we've all got a touch of BVS. But, if DW is who he appears, he'll think about more than just a splashy hire, he'll think about long term wins, seasons upon seasons of stability, and conference and national championships. Donde has earned my trust. DW can borrow some of that cred and do whatever he thinks will get us to the top.
