Hank liked this. @HankHill you know something?
Never had any inside info and probably never will just connecting the dots, you don’t pay a $2.5mil buyout for an AD then pay him $1.8per to hire someone like Napier or Chadwell or even Kiffin for that matter and guys like Fleck and Campbell don’t feel like great fits here.

I don't think Fickell because he isn't offensive minded. The other 3 maybe. Campbell's name has been beaten to death.
So its Cristobal or Rhule, Cristobal is a bammer so not sure we go that route again.
So, Rhule, im in.
With the Haslams back in power, ive had this feeling whoever it is will have NFL ties.

Why is MC a Bamer ?

I don’t think this could realistically happen - for starters because he has never coached college before - but what are the chances we kick the tires on Sean McVay? I’ve seen it posted that we were thinking bigger than Kiffin... Well, that would certainly be bigger. Offensive minded, young, proven winner... We could literally double his salary, as he only makes about 4 million a year, and it would be warranted. I know he’s a career NFL guy though, so I’m sure this will never happen. I’d sure try though.

Rhule already tired of the NFL after one year?

Haven’t really thought of Kelly leaving ND but maybe he knows he can’t win a championship with the type of guys he has to recruit, maybe he wants to come to an SEC school and prove that he can win.
IF the 7 million number is in fact legit, maybe he listens. I don't think he makes anywhere near that at ND does he?

Ive read Eric is the play caller

Don’t think so

here is a quote from recent article

Bieniemy clearly has demonstrated play-calling abilities throughout the past two seasons in Kansas City, even though Reid is the primary play caller. Whether Bieniemy's involvement in calling plays is unclear, he downplayed the entire situation.

So here's food for thought.
Who were the early favorites for the AD job? Ingram and Gilbert. Scott Carter was mentioned as well.
We have new leadership, on the hill, things have been extremely tight lipped. How many radio personalities were talking about Danny White? Literally besides @BruinVol being random as hell, I don't think I heard white mentioned until just before the hire was made last night.

I like Kiffin, I wanted him back in 17. But I feel very confident in saying we haven't brought up the name of who the coach is going to end up being. Or at least beat the dead horse on their name over and over.
