I know and that's fine if we land someone like campbell. But passing kiffin for elliot, napier, brown or leipold? To hell with it. Program isn't under better leadership if that's the case. Burn it down because in 3 years, we will be doing this all over again.

Dude, we get it. You don’t need to post your negative opinion of anyone not Kiffin every 15 minutes.

Unpopular take: Butch was a good football coach (albeit with flaws) and will likely have success again. He was so close to really breaking through in 2015 and 2016, and had we gotten a bounce go the other way here or there, he could still be here killing it. But not enough bounces went his way, and the negativity sunk him.
It’s true.

By the sheer talent of the team. How many dumbass calls did he make? How many players actually got developed? He was a snake oil salesman.

He went 0-8 in the SEC

If Kiffin is the pick, let's ride and I hope you're right. Happy coaching search week.

I'm honestly starting to think it won't be him. I'll be fine if its not. Just know that the instant shock would have recruits lining up and put butts in the seats. Im not making $2 million a year to make that decision, though. I just want a GREAT, proven head coach at some level. Happy coaching search week to you as well, brother.

How TF did Sonny Dykes end up on Hyams list posted during the AM shift? Might as well throw Skip Holtz, Ray Goff and Tommy West on there as well. Dude wouldn’t even sniff a coordinator position.
My top choices are now:
Ray Goff
Skip Holtz
Tommy West
AND
Terry Bowden

There. Now they are out there plus one.

As of right now I am landing on Fleck or Fickell...both have recently loss top coordinators to other schools at the same position. It’s one thing to lose a coordinator to a head coaching job but another to lose a coordinator to taking coordinator position at another school.

Plus with Fickell as you stated Ryan Day isn’t going anywhere and Harbaugh just signed that big extension.

Darkhorses: Scott Satterfield and Neal Brown who would gladly take it but much lower on the list.

Bump.

If Butch would have coached and ran the program like he did the first 2 years, he'd probably still be here. Let the kids start running the program and started coaching scared. His thin skin didn't help his case either.

I listened to Butch interview on 104.5 today. He sounded like he was choking up talking about Tennessee. Said there was so much he could have done differently. Said different staff hires and handling situations differently. He said they definitely should have won a championship and that haunts him. I kinda started liking the guy for a minute...

Then started up with same old shi+. Brick by brick, 15-4 in 19 games prior to last season and I suddenly started hating him again.

Eh he had all the talent, but you could see the culture of the team turning sour. And his refusal to adapt his scheme to his personnel is the mark of a bad coach in my opinion. He could recruit for sure, but development and culture were horrific imo
