Chadwell isn't ready, plus his one good year came in a weird year where teams couldn't practice half the time. Before this year nobody knew who he was, he has 2 of the worst seasons in CC history and his CSU program took a step back in his last year. Add to that he has 0 connections at the P5 level and its more of a disaster waiting to happen then Elliott.
I can appreciate wanting more on the books with Chadwell. t this point I prefer a HC over a coordinator. Too much going on to also be in the middle of establishing an approach as a new HC. Chadwell is going to kill it somewhere...

Lol deflect that fake news. Waitin on Chris Low.

Not one AV drop today. Unreal
This is not directed at any one booster but I've often wondered where all the money came from that was supposedly given to players in McDonald bags. I've read that a current player, who signed with another SEC team, was allegedly given anywhere from 80K to 100K, up front, to bring his talents to UT. If this is true, someone must be really pissed right about now :eek::eek:

If we are going to roll the dice on a coach, I'd rather just ask Mayo if he wants the interim tag for a season, with a guarantee to be Defensive Coordinator for 2022 if we decide to go another way.

You don’t tell a prospective HC that you’ve already hired his DC. That’s the kind of rag-tag, meddling move that has led us to this place we now reside.

Could very well be true. And it still requires one of them to say yes. Hiring fleck or Elliott doesn't mean the others weren't targeted.
I honestly believe the sticking point for Campbell or Fleck would be the NCAA investigations. If AD White and the admin can convince them we will be ok, I think we get either of them. Chadwell’s star is rising. He would take the job if offered.

Right, which is why I think if we’re meeting with Elliott today, it’s a done deal.

When money isn't the sticking point, you gather your nos quickly and move on to the names with genuine interest. An in-person is a final checkpoint. Both parties agree on the basics and reach a verbal... or decide to back off, for whatever reason.

I don’t think you are getting the point, all that was in the media was misdirection and he came out of nowhere with Heupel.

I think Campbell has been the primary, and might emerge like that, but the other dog that hasn’t been barking (publicly) is Napier.

LOL, this guy shows up every coaching search to troll like this. Has Moe Lester weighed in yet?
