This is what baffles me. 5 days ago everyone was losing their **** because they felt we made a Grand Slam hire for the AD position.............only to babble about him making a potential poor hire days later. If you felt DW was a tremendous hire because of his program building, then why not support the decision he makes?

The HD hire will only be a home run if it agrees with our preconceived favorite. It’s the VN way. I think a majority would applaud Stoops, Peterson, Kiffin or Campbell. The others, baring a surprise birthday cake, will leave us once again bickering. That too is the VN way.

They actually will not. I posted it as well and people said they are sorry about his kid but it is still gimmicky.
+1 I guess.

I really don't think the death of his newborn and the fact that he runs his football program like a used car lot or Joel Osteen's church are actually related at all. Maybe that's just a crazy opinion I don't know.

Clemson forums are accepting Tony Elliot is leaving. They also think he’ll fail here, but Streeter will be promoted within for their OC vacancy.

hey volnation. random vent, but my grandfather passed away this morning. He was an alumni, raised me as a vols fan, took and me 6 hours to Neyland every year...to where I eventually got my degree from UT as well. I'm a little bummed that he didn't get to see the best football towards the end, but I know he's seen way more success than I ever have! I loved our time together watching and talking vols. Just remember what its all about guys.

We thought the same about Bama and Gump.

“We” did?

Doubtful. Glaring difference is Saban changes position coaches and coordinators regularly and never skips a beat.

Dabo lost one assistant last year to USF and it was the first of any kind of staff turnover he’s had in forever.

He’s benefitted greatly from cult like staff continuity.
