hey volnation. random vent, but my grandfather passed away this morning. He was an alumni, raised me as a vols fan, took and me 6 hours to Neyland every year...to where I eventually got my degree from UT as well. I'm a little bummed that he didn't get to see the best football towards the end, but I know he's seen way more success than I ever have! I loved our time together watching and talking vols. Just remember what its all about guys.

So sorry for you loss, hope your memories of good times going to the games with him comforts you.

Who, Kiffin no hes not. He just hired a position coach. He wants the attention. Freeze he is untouchable. You can't throw yourself on the sword and then hire a guy with his past. Plus if Saban couldn't hire him, Auburn didn't want him but yeah bring him here. He made his bed and now he needs to lie in it. What's he supposed to tell the parents of 18 year old kids on recruiting visits? I'll teach your son how not to get caught buying hookers?

I think everything AV brings is 100% true at the time. But things change. He’s not a fortune teller. Information is only accurate until it isn’t. Not saying he’s wrong but just because something is said at one point in a very fluid situation doesn’t mean you can cash that check at any given minute.

I think we are going the Auburn route and hiring a G5 HC, but not the usual suspects (Napier, Chadwell, Fickell, Freeze)
