I hope I'm wrong but I don't think Tennessee has learned any lessons from its past. If the hire is Elliott then it's still about control and nothing has changed.

I really at this point am so impressed with how White is operating, it is so different than past coaching searches. There are always little morsels and a good old fashion coaching search is the thing we have become the best at. No one tracks like us, speculates like us, etc.

I think we should really take a moment and tip our collective hat to how tight lipped and professional this search has been thus far.

He's definitely taken so much of the fun out of it, and he's driving us mad, but it feels so much more professional this go around.

If I had that little faith after the hiring of the new AD and his hiring of a new coach, I think I would just go away for the next 12-15 years. And trust me, I might not have that many years left on this here earth.

Again we will see but I'm skeptical that Tennessee has learned from its past. I can be skeptical and still support the team. Sorry it's not all rainbows and unicorns for me with the potential Elliott hire.
