My top choices would be Campbell, Fickell, or Kiffin, but I’d rather have Elliot than several others on the board even if he lacks HC experience.
- He didn’t just step into a coordinator position at an elite program like Pruitt but actually helped build Clemson into an elite program.
- Would probably be able to follow a Dabo model in that we’d have money to assemble a great staff that we might not have if we spent everything on the HC.
- Think he understands the importance of recruiting in the south in a way that other names might not, and think we’d recruit well with him at the helm.
All things considered, I could get behind it if he’s the guy and would probably have myself believing in a 10-win 2021 season by August.

I didn’t have any bias’s on Franklin before hearing about him. Maybe you do.

I think CTE will be a really good HC. Suprised we did what we did if that is the hire. But that does t change the fact that he could be a really good coach and I think would really help our offense be modern and explosive year 1.

I liked the idea of Schiano as HC until I was made aware of his connection to the Penn St scandal. That and his underwhelming run as DC of Ohio St.

He got fired, I think the next season, by Meyer because the defense was bad. National media people forget that.
