I think there is a good possibility of this being true. I also remember reading that making a quick hire might not have great optics for the outcome of our investigation. Just something that I read that keeps coming back to me.

Keep in mind, though, that there’s a difference between hearing from Tennessee and hearing from the search firm that’s vetting and lining up candidates for Tennessee. So that doesn’t necessarily mean there hasn’t been any contact between the two parties.

Nobody knows anything. So all we got is limited info. A report saying he was contacted is more than we have heard about most candidates.
