Are you saying some think Fulmer was treated poorly? As someone that loves coach fulmer and was excited to see him get his shot at AD thinks that's ridiculous. His hire was a total catastrophe that will have long lasting negative implications for Vol football.
Money alone isn't going to buy our way out of this...
Right now, UT has incompatible goals. Moving forward means reconciling that.
I'm sitting here begging for Chadwell right now. I'm choosing to believe Kress that Chadwell has been contacted. If whoever our next big whale is turns it down, give that man the job. He wants to be here. He'll commit to being here for a long time. He could be special. At least there is hope there.
AP really is a loser. The fans aren’t and have never been the problem. If we just hired someone worth a damn we’d give them all the time they need.
yep, and one thing left off the list, in terms of patterns go, is the lack of good leadership, and the inconsistency at leadership. it at least looks like that part may be fixed, or at least on the mend. if that part is fixed, and we exercise a little patience, maybe, we finally get a little closer to 'right' at HC.....It's crazy when you HONESTLY think about it.
We talk about a "pattern" but the only real pattern is not landing the proven absolute winner and that covers 90+% of programs.
We've tried endless other things that's worked for all sorts of others.
The young electrifying NFL coach
The safe offensive minded coordinator
The smaller program winning recruiter
The defense minded, knows fb and the south winning program guy
Not only did things "not work out" like they did for other programs, we straight up hit scum sucking bottom each time.
I mean, come on, give TN fans a freaking much deserved break for a change.
Chadwell wouldn't be a home run by any means, but it would be a good, solid hire imo. Would get plenty of positive press and it would be someone who without a doubt is here for UT and not just to collect a pay check.
Not opposed to Chadwell if it comes to that, but still amounts to catching a guppy on a whale hunt.Chadwell wouldn't be a home run by any means, but it would be a good, solid hire imo.
