Not really. It just sucks to actually hear it out loud. I’ve been avoiding national shows since this NCAA stuff hit. At the same time Farrell just said he was dead wrong about Penn State being dead for a decade and he very well could be about UT too. Neuheisel said the same thing. Basically saying that given the climate of today’s game it wouldn’t be as hard as it used to be to rebuild and have success.

Whites sister is in the AD at SMU, he probably told her he was going to float Dykes name to help manage expectations and that it would help Sonny’s long term recruiting/stature in coaching industry being able to say he was considered for such a big job.

It is not even a measurable opinion. Nobody knows what a good coach might be able to do with the program or what may happen with other programs.

No offense meant to you but wtf does Mike Farrell know. With the right coach and some good recruiting/development we could absolutely be contending in 2-3 years.

You could also argue that Chadwell is doing more with less talent. Elliot has an embarrassment of riches to coordinate. I would argue Chadwell has been more impressive

Bad coordinators squander talent every year, even with all the talent in the world there is a flurry of firings. I'd like to see a list of the last 10 years of coordinators who've won the best award fared as first time HC.
