Yeah, fans appear to be fishing in the Atlantic. UT AD seems to be fishing in the pond behind my house after all the rain last night.

I do to. The problem is, as good as he is, he can't make people take the job. From the talking heads, it sounds like coaches are legitimately turned off by this job, be it the previous horrible leadership, the willingness of current leadership to investigate themselves in order to get out of paying a buyout, be it the reputation of the fanbase, or the fear of the impending investigations.

On top of this, money doesn't always talk. Coaches everywhere are making money. Sonny freaking Dykes is making 3.5 mil at SMU? What? We'd have to pay him 5 at least to get him to consider leaving and he's not worth the 3.5 he's making there. Everyone is making money now.

Fair points, but I will leave you with this...........any stressing, arguing about who has been offered and who hasn’t, or who has turned us down or who hasn’t has absolutely no bearing on who the hire will be. If you believe that DW is the right guy and one hell of a AD, then probably should at least wait until the hire is made before you lose all hope. People don’t think a coach would come into a mess like this, would you have thought a top level young AD like Danny White would come here before he was hired? Why the change of tune now because some bs chatter everywhere on forums about how nobody wants to come here?
