Well, my coaching search drive by has come to an end. I like the hires. Major overhaul and change of direction with an AD and. head coach with strong football pedigrees and strong track records for their age. May check in from time to time. Hope we can get the D right. If so we are in store for major improvements.

One thing about his defense under randy Shannon, it was complete sell out boom or bust all the time. They would get tons of TFLs and takeaways. But if they didn't get those they basically couldn't stop teams. A different DC would probably have a different approach. Shannon did recruit Miami well though.

They literally need nothing player wise to run his O well after the players are trained up in it. Depth and recruits that fit it should handle it all going forward. It's the D. Got to hire the right guys.

Not sure about the hire. Gonna be a prove it type of hire, which we are use to. All depends on the defense and recruiting. If this guy can sure up the defense, watch out, his offenses will putt up points. I'm also hoping he locks down the state in recruiting.
It was always gonna be a difficult job and hire, im glad we got someone that wants to be here. I'm pullin for him.

If nothing else, I hope JH succeeds just to make these instate kids transferring out look like clowns for abandoning their teammates for "greener" grass.

I hope they look back and realize they could have replicated the same success they'll inevitably have at OU at Tennessee.

As DB coach? I remember not being great; but, we were garbage? After 0-8, those yrs became a blur except for UF and UGA in 16.

Not we...HE. They also ribbed us over Jancek, but he was above competent. History shows he has some talent at his disposal and he coached them down.
