I wonder if he's basically told Steele he's interested but has a couple other guys he wants to check with first. I think if we could keep him on as LB coach or something like that it's the best case scenario. Not sure if he goes for that. But I don't know if he's flooded with options right now.

Drama really seems to follow Tee around.

Sucks if Fulmer made an empty promise. No one is out to screw Tee or take advantage of him. Publicly peddling this story as if he was wronged looks pretty desperate. I feel bad for the guy and wish whatever the issues are could be reconciled. But always seems to be a victimhood story of him as it relates to UT.

Tee is really a nice person. He is out of a job without a severance package after being told he had another 2 years. I met him at a Braves game summer before last and he took the time to talk football with me and my son and also graciously allowed pictures. He is just in a bad spot. We all need our jobs.

The good news is CJH don't give a Fuuuuuuuuuuu about this drama. He's here to coach up his ball team, and nothing else. He'll put the appropriate people in place to handle PR and focus on the team.

A few VFLs can't seem to wrap their mind around the fact their time has passed, it's no longer "your" program. Times are different what you did and how you did it ain't the answer anymore.
Right, it's time to adapt, improvise, and overcome!

Fulmer for me is #1 on the list of people at fault. Pruitt is 2nd and Donde is third.

I do agree that she could have squashed the NCAA investigation and gotten rid of both Fulmer & Pruitt without setting us back so much. It would have been more expensive for sure though. But she didn't go that route for whatever reason, moral high ground, pettiness, who knows. We did however get a grand slam of an AD hire and I feel really good about the HC hire.

We can speculate all we want that a "clean" break from Pruitt/Fulmer may have improved our candidate pool for the new HC. It might have, but we'll never know if firing Pruitt and paying his buyout would have meant we could have landed Campbell or Fickell. Could have still landed where we are now. I feel like things would have went differently too if Pruitt had just been willing to negotiate a lesser buyout as well (one reason he's 2nd and not Donde).

I have zero problem with halting activity based on bad faith intent. I don't think anyone's actions should be ultimately justified by how rich or poor they are. I don't think a hedge fund manager trashing a company to profit is good, either.

However, if a fund (or large group of individual investors... no matter how if they're a greedy fund manager or "peasants" as some might say) shares or publishes analysis to support their position and convince others that position is appropriate, that is not market manipulation.

Who is Robinhood or any other platform to judge the intent of the buyer? If the intent is to support brick and mortar in an era where digital economy is crushing them, is that good enough intent? How is that bad faith? As I see it, this is a direct protest against the sleezy practice of holding down struggling companies by shorting them and manipulating the mainstream opinion of them for profit.

AD White needs to get the holdover coaching situation resolved soon. None of this was his doing. But now its his problem.
JH absolutely needs to get people on staff that are all-in with him and his plan, and its White's job to navigate the rough waters to get him there.
As soon as possible.

It appears UT football needs an exorcism performed. Unreal. We probably should greatly appreciate Danny White and Josh Heupel stepping into this mess. As more and more of the truth comes out internally it reveals just how rotten to the core it all was. Donde authorizing throwing money at Steele? Good grief.

redditors think its cute until the feds show up and start sending people to jail for market manipulation
But senators and people in power can have meetings behind closed doors and come out and buy and sell huge quantities of stock with no worries about "insider trading ".
Makes me sick

He just has to get the receivers on board and not crying over Tee’s drama that he has nothing to do with

Everything @AtlantaVol shared was true. We had a big hire on the line and it was Franklin for sure. But didn’t happen. Some deals don’t get done. No investigation then we spend the money for the right guy. Gives me hope we will spend for a good staff and have a guy who wants to be here. Time to support and hope this guy is it.
There was so much information from some insiders that it was confusing. I thought AtlantaVol said we had the hire signed or something like that
