I’m actually convinced Pruitt started JG because JG knew the ruse and was told to shut up and he could keep his job. lol. That’s literally the only explanation for him playing as much as he did
That only makes sense if he was the only one who knew about what was going on. That wasn't the case here.

Hubbs is on VQ saying this will get ugly. Why? Tee is unemployed. He has no contract with the university. Why does this have to be ugly? Just go get another job. What is the deal?

At this point, let White completely clean out the AD. Remove Hubbs from the VolNetwork, because VolQuest clicks and ties to the old guard are clearly more important to him than helping the current program. Frankly, I'm done with the entire "heritage" organization and how it's handled this. No offense to those of you who work in the dept or affiliated departments, but everyone seems to have their own agenda and just paying everyone off to get on board doesn't work. Their agendas don't change, they just fade into the background until the next opportunity to hold UT hostage over their agenda.

If we can get that same level of offensive output, we will be in every single game we play.

I am actually quite excited to see if it translates to the same level with the players we have here and against better competition.
I think it will be mid season by the time things click, sort of like Mizzou last year. Unfortunately that’s the worst of the schedule so it may not be evident. I look to finish the year Strong though

I think T is going to have to take a step back from a money perspective.

I think Tee is really going to have to take a step back a reflect after this one. It's very rare that you get paid so much to do so little. The fact that he is expecting to be further compensated for lackluster performance is hilarious. He could have possibly taken this situation, gone about it calmly, left with respect and possibly had a good chance at another job. It is now going to be public knowledge in the coaching world about his performance and with what are apparent behavioral issues to go with it. He may be really screwing himself with this situation.

Also you may never know. Several guys on Pruitt's staff were looking for ways out and found other jobs. Tee may have tried the market and didn't find anyone who had interest and now he is doing this as a last ditch effort on the opportunity he has.

UT will end up paying $6MM+ in buyouts to hire UCF personnel. Just buy out the contracts of Pruitt staffers, come to terms with Tee, get signed NDAs and let the new guys have a clean slate. Cost of doing business.

Otherwise, UT is going to be dealing with bad publicity, negativity, threats of litigation and settlements for months to come. Get a fresh start, move on and try to generate some positivity around the program.
In other words----put that FU money to work and let's ride

No big surprises so far. CJH is bringing some of his staffers, and they'll get sweet deals. Steele envisioned a different scenario and is ready to leverage that golden parachute. In the game of UT musical chairs, Chaney and Weinke aren't finding one. Tee's contract expires Sunday. UT is working on deals and will pay buyoUTs for those disinclined to job search. UT won't get a buyout from Ansley, who had an NFL clause in his contract.

Where are the assistant recruiters? And are you concerned no one in the new crew (UCF and MO) knows the big time recruiting model employed by GA/AL/Clemson/TAM/LSU and TN before we fired them all?
