Well even after we take that into consideration will we have enough players? Since you can only take 25 at a time (which is now probably 21 for us) will we have more transfers OUT than we have guys coming in?

Jaylen Wright, Jalin Hyatt, Malachi Wideman, Velus Jones, Jimmy Calloway, Jimmy Holliday, Cedric Tillman, Dee Beckwith, Tiyon Evans, Walker Merrill- get them all in space. I don’t know who JH has had, but as HC or even at Mizzou, I bet this is the most talent he’s ever had.

Possibly. But scholarship reduction doesn't mean we can't take 25. It means we can't have a full 85. So if the math works out, we can still take 25 as long as we don't exceed whatever reduction we self-impose.

We may have looked back at Dooley differently if wilcox didn't leave before that 3rd season. He was the last good DC we had.

They can reduce annual too. When lane went to USC they could only sign 15 per year i think.

Not predicting greatness or anything in the realm. Just happy that we can scheme up some games for maybe the first time since Cut’s day. And bad as it COULD get? We win games like the Arkansas and even the Auburn game when all we needed was some semblance of a pulse. Baby steps or replace.

Every time someone goes in the portal, they lose their scholarship. That's the protection given to the schools. If they come out of the portal and stay, it's up to the coach if his scholarship is given back.

Mix of leach and briles is probably the oversimplified way to explain it but pretty much what it is.

That should be up to the head coach to decide.... do you have a link..... I would be curious to read about his philosophy....I just know the players weren’t allowed on campus last year due to covid.

Yeah I know he wasn’t given a full in person offseason workout as in past years but gave them a off season regimen and they came back smaller and leaner... per Henry t video( if u google henry t weight loss) and then worked with them in person when they came back... yes he wasn’t given a full in person off-season ... so maybe I’m wrong... but just know he was braggin about how much weight everyone (majority)had lost...
