So many have praised AJ Artis today... Not sure why.. We became smaller and supposedly faster, but couldn’t bring anyone down after contact.., losing Fitz was huge.. smaller is not better in this league

Not arguing bro.. but I remember they sent out pics bragging on how much weight everyone had lost. Except for the o-line.. Henry T. Was one... he was able to work these guys.. and his philosophy was different from Fitz... But maybe this will work in Heupels game

That should be up to the head coach to decide.... do you have a link..... I would be curious to read about his philosophy....I just know the players weren’t allowed on campus last year due to covid.

Don’t come at me, just need a friendly reminder. Is anyone else starting to come off the optimistic euphoria already? I was full wool 2 days ago. Now, with no evidence to back up this pessimistic feeling, I’m starting to feel like this isn’t going to work.

This one feels different for me. With Butch and Pruitt I bought into hope right away. I believed we were gonna win titles.

With Heupel, I believe we’ve hired the best coach we’ve hired since Majors. But he feels safe. I don’t know if he’ll win a title, but I feel confident he won’t be a disaster. Idk

Bone, it's not going to look like anything close to what we have to have here. Yes, the game is changing as far as putting points on the board, offense; but, DL is what has made the SEC far superior to all others. The DL has won the SEC many National Championships.

DL recruiting and play will have to be monumentally better for Heupel, no matter how many points he can score. It will be if he hires Garner. If he doesnt...this isn't like the HC search, Garner is there to have...im going to be disappointed and text my bros about it, and cuss the walls around me.

Anyone studied 2nd half performance under Heupel? Adjustments? Were they a first half or second half team predominantly? We need a kick in the pants at halftime for these kids used to laying down in the third.

I've never noticed a trend as far as first half second half. They just constantly attack. Sometimes they'd fall behind and catch up late. Sometimes they'd get a big lead and let it slip. Which happened in the first 2 losses in 2020.

The 25 limit is bs. If the roster cap is 85, and a school needs 40 to fill it, they should be allowed to sign 40 in a class. No reason for that rule.

I totally agree. This offense, in time, will be fine. The DC and DL in particular will absolutely make or break Heupel. He MUST nail the hires. I'm very nervously awaiting news on his defensive staff members

It's gonna be tough to pull out of this maelstrom, but at least it will be fun beating the ever livin **** out of OOCs and Vandy instead of watching nail biters
