You realize the TE coach is the OC, Golesh, who helped build iowa states program with Campbell as the recruiting coordinator and TE coach.

But but but, lets think for a second here. We just saw how terrible a ball control offense can be. So, im not too worried against the lesser talented teams that aren't built to play that way, but try to against us.

i think this that's the wrong take on this. i think its less about where they come from and more about what they're stepping into. P5s generally turn to G5 coaches when, like us, they're spiraling and options are limited. it shouldn't be surprising they're not immediately successful. some of the g5 coaches stepping into less chaotic situations did fine, it appears.

I think Steele ends up being the dc. I think the few days has healed the hurt he had with not getting the Hc job. I think fulmer had promised him the job.

The fact he’s still employed tells me he’s coming around. With the other coaches being fired yesterday I think he’s staying

It just might be a win-win situation for Steele. If he can turn this mess around with the loss of players already, and with the ones he recruits, it would be a huge plus for him and make him more attractive in the future as a head coach. Its already expected that our defense will be our weak point.

Pruitt left us in so much worse shape than Dooley. Didn’t think that was possible

I think we have lots of talent on this team. They just didn't get the chance with Pruitt because he was stubborn.

That list completely discounts that most of those situations were horrible when the new coach took over. Matt Rhule was great at Baylor before he left. Manny Diaz has been decent at Miami. Despite getting fired, Herman won games at Texas and Fuente has won games at VT even though he hasn't been anything spectacular. Geoff Collins and Mike Norvell are still unknown. The only disasters we really know of have been Chad Morris and Willie Taggart.

Joe Doyle got beat out by Paxton Brooks. He wasn't going to play barring injuries this year anyway. Relax everyone.
