I'm still wondering if we ever offered Tony Elliott or not? Mainly because I read an article the other day slamming college football for no diversity hires this cycle. We tried, and failed, yet we were grouped in with others for not making a minority hire. You can't make a candidate take a job. If we offered both Franklin and Elliott, I don't see how we can be faulted for them turning us down.

How do we know Elliot even entertained an offer? I think Campbell and Fleck didn’t even entertain the idea of listening to an offer.

You know that is one thing we are going to have to be patience with is allowing them time to get the right pieces in place on D. Don't think its missing to many pieces but we sure need some edge rushers and some DT's for depth. I know I mentioned about the Memphis three and I believe two are LB's but I am also excited to see what Arron Willis can do. Did we get a couple of DT's in the early signing ?
