Being from here in the Lebanon area and a life-long supporter of Cumberland, coach Woody Hunt of the baseball team, who is retiring at the end of this season after 40+ yrs, was struck in the face by a line drive and was taken to the ER yesterday. He suffered a broken nose and a concussion. He did return home at some point last night though. That man has an amazing all-time record and I hope and expect he will be honored and praised appropriately when the season is done.

I'd rather get bounced in the first two rounds of the tournament, with one or two S16/E8 appearances and the occasional SEC title in a 10 year span with Barnes than wander the basketball desert striking out on "promising" new coaches who fail, get us in NCAA trouble, bone-headed players, and a carousel of coaches in hopes of striking gold.

I hope Barnes retires here, and as long as he's in orange I'm going to enjoy it.
Ditto

So I'm watching the replay... And at the 12:00 Mark in the 2nd half it's 58-48, UK had all the momentum...fulky is on the bench with 4 fouls, pons has 2 points...

And we score 81 from this point and win by 11. If you would have told me all that last night at this same point, and then told me how we win, I'd of bet a paycheck against. Lol.

Glad no one asked.

the Lord has given him enough this calendar year. Lost his home to the tornado less than a year ago, had a tough round with covid and now this.
a true gentlemen that all would love if they knew him

It’s a no brainer, can’t for the life of me figure out why people complain about Barnes. He’s worth every penny IMO, especially when you consider the alternative.

People complain about not paying for a big name football coach, yet complain about paying up for a top bball coach.

Yep. We're a to ten b-ball program right now. We're relevant for the conference and NCAA post season consistently.. Recruiting as well as we ever have..

Lol.

I'm good...

It’s was bad but not as awkward as listening to Bill Walton. Dickie V isn’t half as irritating and that says a lot.
I don't mind Dickie V so much. He still has a lot of passion for the game and brings energy to the broadcast. He still is full blueblood but he does not bother me that much. Walton, on the other hand, some of his tangents, makes him unlistenable most of the time.

we lost to Ole Miss, likely will fall to 18 or new rankings. really, what happens in reg season is inconsequential, unless you win conference...SEC tourney is the big one. Gotta ball out.

Beating your rival is always awesome. But they really arent very good this year. This team has to learn to win, and I think last night was nice step forward. Great to see our heralded frosh step forward, as our upper classmen fall asleep at times.

Prior to last night there were times frosh fell asleep too. SV just might as well not be out there at times.

Good win.

Oh wow keep us updated about his status if you don’t mind. I’ve met him a handful of times. I played for his son in HS
