Any word on the contract details for Banks? I was unable to find any...
Saw these details earlier...looks a little fishy so form your own opinions:

1.3 trillion annual salary with bonuses for signing the contract in ink and not pencil.

Lifetime deal as long as he would have us.

Free mansion and 400 acres.

Part ownership in the Henley Street Bridge, Calhouns and Neyland Drive.

Unlimited talk and text with straight talk.

A boat, a private jet, and a Lamborghini.

Lifetime meals at Applebee’s.

You like him..then go be a UCF fan and kiss his ass..I think he freakin sucks, and I am extremely happy we didn't go for his washed up, meh ass.

He would have been meh as hell here, and without Steele at Awbarn he would have been fired a long time ago, and he sure as hell wasn't going to have him here.
Agree, he was only good with Nick Marshall. All his other teams at Auburn were extremely flawed offensively.

So DW (who can't seem to close a big deal to save his life) and Admin with FU money come up with a Co-DC who seems to be a fairly good recruiter, but wasn't even calling plays on D.......... This is going to be very interesting to see how this plays out.

Some pretty descent coaches on the O side of the ball, a few good coaches on the D side, but not sure how this is all going to shape up as a cohesive unit/coaching staff...

Pretty underwhelming considering who we were supposedly going after and what the Admin's goals were through this entire coaching search.

DW is running this entire thing and it doesn't look like JH has too much imput... I sure hope we are not Three seasons, reset.
Home run! Diversity checked !
But I just saw the news, so other than the above what’s the upside?

I think Butch put the hate on himself when he went to Alabama and made it a point to make us pay his whole buyout while he went and fetched Saban coffee for 3 years. Had he not had such a big ego and gone and gotten another job somewhere, I don't think there would be as much hate towards him.

There was also that year he didn’t win 1 SEC game while spewing some pretty infamous cliches out of his flapper. Don’t think that did himself any favors either.

Serious question:

Why is it that when Tennessee seems to finally get something right the school they come from whether it be AD or coach seem to transition so much easier

AW was suppose to be the best man for the job. Coaching searches aren’t his thing. UCF makes it look easier. I’ll wait and see what happens between coaches

As you would expect, he was not all in until Applebee's secured the deal.

So I think Jerry Mack probably gets Special Teams & RBs, he hasn't coached them before but he's been an OC & HC so he seems the best fit. Here's my best guess on defensive staff.

Defensive Staff (5)
DC - Tim Banks
DL - Rodney Garner
ILBs - Kevin Steele
OLBs - Kevin Simon
DBs - Willie Martinez
Is Steele gonna be on this staff. It's been said that he hasn't been in the complex for over a week.
