We'll start convincing them then... I think this tragedy is an incredible opportunity to educate them how stupid we do things. A thorium reactor is not an unsafe device. Corrosion from salt is one technical challenge so pipes will need replaced until a suitable material is found. Much safer than zirconium rods that caused fukushima and chernobyl

Edit sleeves rather than rods. Converts to pure hydrogen when overheats or meltdown. Collects at top. Pressure rises. Concrete cracks. Oxygen meets hydrogen. Boom. Twice now

I was just looking back and thinking about the whole renewable environmentally friendly options that are out there now and it still boils down to buy in of the general public. I think most people realize the path were are going down is not sustainable but we as a society are terribly near sighted when it comes to fixing any tough problem that involves the masses because the general population have been lead down so many wrong costly path's before they tend to be reluctant to change from the tried and true even though though it us for the best.

If the leaders and scientist would come up with policies that address the "what if's" in a case such as whats happening in Texas now and how they would mitigate any potential problems the general populus would be more accepting in the long run and be more eager to make the change. We do not respond well when the threat of anything is tossed around as it has been today and some of the outlandish statements made by certain people will never be received well.

Any move to new and renewable's has to be proven, Safe, Effective, Reliable and Cost effective. Not in a lab or a study but in homes, work and the end users pocket book.

They knew they didn't need to draft our players because they could get them as a UFA and get a bargain. They were talented but underdeveloped.

Which proves the point. No demand for the player or they would draft them and not take a chance somebody else would grab them. They were projects in the NFL. Worked out for them, but their college performances were mediocre at best.

Football talk at the moment.....sorry I pi**ed you off the other day.......still learning how things work around here.......
It pisses everybody off in season to junk up the main thread with OT stuff...but it is going in to the dead season and it shouldn't be a big deal to anybody now. I get hating certain topics, I really hate soccer, but I don't gripe about it off season.

All that is being argued about right now is whether or not, or how much Willie Martinez sucks, or which QB is going to be the main man...trust me you are going to hear that crap till you wanna pull your hair out by the time season starts.
