Then they walk into the ladies room and nobody says anything because they don't want to "offend" anybody and then a girl/woman gets molested and everyone is just in shock that something like that could happen. Every birth certificate lists gender. They will probably stop listing gender in certain states since it is longer binary according to some and a person shouldn't be shackled to their birth gender. Such stupid garbage.

They seem to make it to the fort and downtown for parties/bars.

I have a question for you military guys...My grandfather was in the Corps of Engineers and went ashore the day after D-Day. Nobody in our family ever thought to ask him what unit he was in, so finding out exactlt where he went, and what they did as they slowly made their way to Germany has been tough. He told me a few stories about rebuilding roads and bridges that had been blown up as the Germans retreated while under fire.

Do any of you guys know how I can find out his service record?

Unless they have changed the rules, you wont be able to request it, but your mother/father can(it has to be a direct relation). As stated, the records were probably destroyed- my grandfathers were (he was also a Dday engineer). This is a pet history period of mine so if you have any pictures or unit insignia I can try to help.

Records are available to public 62 years after the service members separation from the service. No need to be direct next of kin at that point.

Thanks for the clarification. I had to use my mom when I tried to pull them 10-11 years ago so may have still been in that window and probably just didnt realize.

I think we will be the first conference to leave. Other conferences will say they are firmly supportive of the NCAA until somebody starts counting the money and it will be a landslide after the second major conference, likely the ACC or Big12, joins us

Let's remember the NCAA is controlled by the member institutions. All these schools...they are the NCAA. You can replace the NCAA, but ultimately you'll need some governing body to vote on, enact, and enforce rules.

Now...the NCAA has been about as regressive as imaginable. They have been against paying players, even NiL, since forever. They are the last entity still holding up the whole facade of amateurism. Remove the NCAA and the floodgates will open up to professionalism and corporate influences. Call it a positive or a negative, depending on your views.
