When people started claiming that they were cats, I thought some folks had lost their minds.

When I was told by the supposedly sane people in society that this was ok, and shouldn’t be treated as a mental disorder, I realized everyone had lost they mind

I mean, I would’ve loved to have been a major leaguer once upon a time....would love to identify as one. Doesn’t make me one...

What am I missing?!

You can say they are two different words, but gender doesn't have a definition without respect to sex.

"A man is someone who identifies as a man" is not a valid definition. Definitions can't include the word they are defining.

You can't seperate sex from gender without reducing gender (and thus gender pronouns) to be essentially made up titles with no semantic meaning. Maybe that's the point? I don't know.

The actual issue to solve is folks who are born women who either naturally produce much higher levels of male hormones or who are currently transitioning. That issue is a lot more nuanced and no one wants any part of trying tot tackle it despite it being a much more realistic scenario granting competitive advantage.

I knew Nera White. She was an incredible athlete. She was not an average lady. I am not sure how she would be viewed today.

Female HS athletes have lost college scholarship opportunities because they were forced to compete against biological males in track and field.

I think it’s more insane to argue object facts. They’re two different words. If you can’t understand that then that’s on you

If bubba decides he’s a now woman named bubbina, then that’s his new gender. However, bubba’s sex will forever be “male”

Bubba is not a woman no matter what he claims. His gender is male. He’s a male. If they dig his bones up a thousand years from now and experiment on him, they’ll identify him as a male. Period, end of story. He’s a male, a man.

To be fair, Justin Fields and TLaw were 5*s. Watson and Fromm were both top-50 guys. Bailey was "just" ranked 100th in the composite.

Just saying, high school stats don't always mean a ton. Go on maxpreps and look up the best rushers or tacklers any given year...a bunch of people you've never heard of. There is a lot more to it than HS stats and Bailey was always properly tempered as a very good prospect, but not a 5* or top-10 type of kid either. I said it 2 years ago, 1 year ago, and now...we've had a handful of kids rated higher out of HS in the past 20 years and all (except Bray imo) needed time to develop. We need patience, he just needs to develop.

It might not be that noticeable on a national level yet but you are correct. I’ve seen stories where high school girls lose out on scholarships because they simply can’t compete. And as time passes, more and more athletes will go through transition just to be able to participate in women sports just to be able to dominate. Some people just want to win and will do anything to have easier competition.

I'd be willing to bet that all of the Uighurs that the CCP has chemically neutered would some help from the woke crowd. If they aren't to busy fighting for the use of their preferred pronouns while they enjoy their milkshake from Starbucks and watch Netflix.
