they may all be fine but HB is clearly QB1.

We were trying to play cover 3 on one and no one covered the outer deep 1/3. Idk what to tell you. Idc who QB1 is lol. This spring is about install anyway. We will know who QB1 is when fall camp is open.

HB reminded me of Danny Wuerffel and this offense is going to score points. The new era of fun and gun offense. If Tn can just field a decent defense. Spurrier did it at Fla and Heupel is going to do it here.

Hooker is inaccurate - good athlete. Good escapability

Maurer is off balance and reckless - terrible footwork and decisions

Bailey is sharp mentally. He knows where to go. He has a strong arm. He is very accurate. He is a little slow and his release has a hitch.

Maurer needs to stop trying to make plays because he is athletically gifted enough to make them. I was hoping this offense would keep him inside of structure more but he’s gotta learn how to scrap a play or just take what the defense gives him. Can’t hit a home run every pitch. Maurer is the QB that gives us the highest ceiling. That’s why the coaches put him out there first and keep giving him a lot. If he doesn’t start it’s by no ones fault but his own. From everyone i talked to today they matched that. “Has all the tools but it’s everything else that comes with him”...(body language, forcing things, just trying to do too much). They know he’s a roller coaster.

No offense but bailey is a pusher. He doesn’t have a strong arm.

Eh, to each their own. The national guys get excited across the board, doesn't bother me. I actually prefer unbiased, I don't need some homer telling me how the game is going as a fan, I want an unbiased observer so I know I'm getting the facts. If he says the refs missed a call, I want to be able to believe it instead of wondering if he's just biased.

Yep. To each their own. When John Ward was on the call I'd turn down the volume on the TV to avoid the national guys. No way I listen to Vern and Gary over Ward. I am so disinterested in Bob I just listen to the national guys.

Soooo, whats going on ? Did they have a scrimmage today and are we going to run the ole Wish Bone as promised ? Nothing like a good triple option to really get you in the football spirit. I really prefer the Single Wing myself but you need a strong fullback to block on the plays up the middle.

Still feel this way after today? We looked ok but there are a lot of holes in this team.

I think we win 5-7 this year. Like I keep saying, lots of holes, but we will get some players back and take a few more transfers. Team will look different come fall.

As easily as those who say the offense looked really good. Sorry but there are quite a few weak spots at the moment. Hopefully they will get fixed by the time the season starts.
