You don't need to knock the receiver down with it but you can't throw a wounded duck either. The key is to throw it to the guy with the same color uniform as you have on.

Yeah, I vaguely remembered that John Jancek had a kid who was a walk on, I just wasn't expecting him to be our primary deep threat.

I know nothing about mechanics or anything else except that Bailey looked really good like he did in high school when all the evaluators tried to keep him from getting his 5th star by coming up with excuses, and all he did was get the ball to the ones that would make plays. He looked great today after reports of him being so far behind the other two. Even all the media including AP had to admit it.

Played. No big runs or run overs that I recall. Did have a nice catch where I believe they spilt him out of the backfield... they played many RB’s... maybe 6-7...

i just think it matters right now Bc it probably explains why they are trying to push Maurer. They see he has the highest ceiling so they are giving him the first shot to earn it. It’s a win win either way.. if he figures it out and buys in , then we have our most physically talented QB starting... if he can’t then run him off That’s smart. It doesn’t mean they don’t like bailey or Hooker.

Hooker was the worst QB IMO. Bad decisions, bad throws, they basically ran the ball the whole time he was in the game.

Are they pushing Maurer or is the talking heads pushing Maurer? Like I said the other night Maurer is too erratic with the ball and he tries to be something he is not. HB is the best QB on this team and its not even close. HB has it between the ears and he does not try to something he knows that will get him into trouble out there. Does HB still have work to do ? he sure does and I bet he can be coached up. Maurer ,I like the kid but he cant be erratic out there and he has been erratic since he first played.
