I agree, but that is also why JG started his sophomore year and Dobbs began as a backup his sophomore year. Butch didn't play Dobbs until it was evident that Worley wasn't working. I am saying whoever performs the best in practice is most likely to start week 1 when installing a new system. Now who starts by midseason depends on the game performance by the early season starter. I am talking strictly about who starts early in the season. What happens by midseason is anyone's guess. In my opinion, whoever performs the best in practice starts week 1. It could go just like it did in Heupel's 2nd year at UCF. Wimbush starts but Dillon Gabriel eventually takes the job. What happens during the season is unpredictable, but the early-season starter is most likely who performs best in practice.to be fair, JG was great in practice and Dobbs was mediocre in practice.....we all see how that panned out.
I should clarify that I am talking purely about who I think will start week 1, not who will start midseason or be good. I think whoever plays the best at practice will start week 1 when installing a new system. Who starts by midseason is anyone's guess. Who actually plays well is anyone's guess.to be fair, JG was great in practice and Dobbs was mediocre in practice.....we all see how that panned out.
Big fan of grunge music. Never bothered to research the backstory of Mother Love Bone even tho you’d hear cuts of that Apple album everywhere flannel was flashed and coffee sipped.

I agree. I'm a Bailey fan, but I'm not sure how high his ceiling is. I think his ceiling is probably Jake Fromm level. Good, but not elite. I could be wrong, but that's jmo. Milton, with his gifts, could be special if he could be developed to his potential. If I had a choice, I would want Milton to be the guy and live up to his potential.
Having a difference maker at QB would make a world of difference.
