to be fair, JG was great in practice and Dobbs was mediocre in practice.....we all see how that panned out.
I agree, but that is also why JG started his sophomore year and Dobbs began as a backup his sophomore year. Butch didn't play Dobbs until it was evident that Worley wasn't working. I am saying whoever performs the best in practice is most likely to start week 1 when installing a new system. Now who starts by midseason depends on the game performance by the early season starter. I am talking strictly about who starts early in the season. What happens by midseason is anyone's guess. In my opinion, whoever performs the best in practice starts week 1. It could go just like it did in Heupel's 2nd year at UCF. Wimbush starts but Dillon Gabriel eventually takes the job. What happens during the season is unpredictable, but the early-season starter is most likely who performs best in practice.

I should clarify that I am talking purely about who I think will start week 1, not who will start midseason or be good. I think whoever plays the best at practice will start week 1 when installing a new system. Who starts by midseason is anyone's guess. Who actually plays well is anyone's guess.

Big fan of grunge music. Never bothered to research the backstory of Mother Love Bone even tho you’d hear cuts of that Apple album everywhere flannel was flashed and coffee sipped.

Same here until literally a week ago when I heard Crown of Thorns for the first time in years and that got me interested. He's a cool guy. A lot of parallels in how he grew up and myself.

Another fun fact- if you’ve seen the show Lucifer, Chloe Dekker was originally to be named Chloe Dancer, obviously a nod to Mother Love Bone.

I haven’t...but future binge. I can work around the house happily listening to songs of that genre that never came close to charting.

If I had a choice, I would want Milton to be the guy and live up to his potential.

Having a difference maker at QB would make a world of difference.
I agree. I'm a Bailey fan, but I'm not sure how high his ceiling is. I think his ceiling is probably Jake Fromm level. Good, but not elite. I could be wrong, but that's jmo. Milton, with his gifts, could be special if he could be developed to his potential.

A priest is driving along the highway and gets pulled over by the police for speeding. The police officer smells alcohol on the priest's breath and then sees an empty wine bottle on the floor of the car. He asks, "Father, have you been drinking?"

"Just water," says the priest.

The police officer says, "Father, then why do I smell wine?"

The priest looks at the bottle and says, "Good Lord! He's done it again!"

NB4...

"He gone."

"He gone."
