Never understood why CJP hung on to Weinke so long. It wasn’t like he did anything as QB coach and he sure didn’t light it up as a recruiter. I’m glad JG is gone and hope he finally gets some decent coaching.
Fun fact. Weinke at FSU was the QB who lost to Heupel at OU in the 2001 NCG.

Our latest QB commitment is from Greenwood Indiana. As I recall, UT had a really good basketball player from Greenwood in the early 70's. His name was Mike Edwards. He was SEC POY one year. John Ward called him the "Greenfield Gunner". Some of you old timers like me will remember him. I believe his scoring average was in the low 20's without a 3 point line.

I didn’t have much interest in that game and didn’t watch. I always liked FSU except of course, the big game, had a lot of respect for Bobby Bowden and hated watching his decline. I still remember when he was asked about running up the score on the opposing team, he replied he can only coach his own team, of course I’m an old fugger.

I think the new school has plausible deniability. If we don't indicate to OSU that there is evidence that he received improper benefits than they aren't on the hook for it. If we continued to play him knowing that he was receiving improper benefits then we would most likely have to forfeit games. I think that's why Gray is playing for Oklahoma now. JMO

Forfeiting the Spring game...🤔

Just like a coach that moves on to a different job such as the NFL and leaves the last job and players involved to “face the consequences”. No party involved is innocent and there should be consequences for all. Unfortunately, it’s not the reality we live in.

Well, depending on the severity of the penalties...there may be some “unofficial visits to the former coaching staff “ 😳
Hopefully their new jobs have good insurance options. 🤔
