Maybe they bought into what the coaches were giving. Either way, I agree with you not to ruin any young man’s future. Makes us look petty. And no need for us to ruin any young man's future because we're bitter. Ultimately, they got taken advantage of by the former coaches just like we did. I'm sure they were told "no big deal" and "everyone does it". And being young and stupid (and I mean that nicely), they bought in to what their coaches were selling.
In all honesty our LB position isnt in that dire of position. Right now we have Jeremy Banks, Solon Page, possibly return Aaron Beasley, Morven Joseph and Roman Harrison are versatile and could slide inside, Garland. Just add Juwan Mitchell and we should be fine
say we do add Mitchell our depth chart would likely be:
1st team: Jeremy Banks and Juwan Mitchell
2nd team: Aaron Beasley and Solon Page
3rd team: Kuwaze Garland and Shuler
Plug in Morven Joseph and/or Roman Harrison
I am assuming Beasley will be back for fall camp, I think if he were to be dismissed he would’ve been by now
Yes, we should absolutely panic until we have games so we can get proven players.I see you’ve fallen into the trap of listing names and calling this depth.
Number of proven power 5 LBs. Zero. That’s a cause for concern.
Now we were bad there last year so maybe not a big drop off. But putting banks name down don’t make him jerod mayo
The QB not giving the ball to the sideline ref. It's the little details in this offense. They're taught this to make sure the center judge gets the ball and places it quickly. Such a small thing I never would have noticed, but interesting everything they think about. Hype and staff call it "ball mechanics". Doing everything they can to go fast and gain small advantages.
Jackson's video reminds me quite a bit of JG's HS video. Plus size on the vertical, but skinny right now. Nice mobility, but not blowing right past Indiana HS players either. Strong arm, accurate looking. Luckily this kid will get a true QB guru molding him into something potentially special.
Guarantano's career at TN may have been vastly different if he had received more than one off season of competent QB coaching. Tyson Helton probably benefitted him somewhat but the combination of Mike Canales and Chris Weinke were a college career killer.Jackson's video reminds me quite a bit of JG's HS video. JG is simply not a D1 Qb. Never was. Even his high school stats were pedestrian.Guarantano's career at TN may have been vastly different if he had received more than one off season of competent QB coaching.
