So only 8 teams make the CWS?? Wow. I thought it was more like 16, 32, 64 teams. Guess that makes sense then why we haven't been to the CWS in so long. Much more exclusive than I was aware. The last CWS game I watched was the Lady Vols about a decade ago when Abbott(?) pitched.

64 teams make the field. 16 regionals with four teams. Winners of each go to super regionals.

Do you ever get excited about a TE commit? It would have to be an Arik Gilbert type talent for me to be excited about pretty much any TE commit. Not a position that usually has a shiny prospect that makes you go wow. One of those you tend to find out down the road about.

Man - you really have to stretch your noggin's Nega-Vol capacity to come up with something trite to say about how things are going with the Diamond Vols. With some decent umping and without a few pen meltdowns this bunch may have only lost 3-4 SEC games all season. 35-11 and 15-7 in the toughest conference in college ball is getting it done no matter how the finish the season. My hope is the team just continues to do what they have done all season and have fun. Inspiring bunch.

To play devil's advocate: I think it's a little hypocritical to ask for that when Cade Mays, Brandon Kennedy, and others have come in here and we complained the SEC took too long to decide they could play, and we were all irate when they initially blocked Cade.

HT har a coaching change and transferred. They're going to allow it. Especially because it's Bama.
