Seems to me that he is talking about a player that left his team,not one that is on the team.

As to Toyota (autocorrect changed it and I'm leaving it), he was/is a hired hit man just as many players are. Used to when money hadn't infiltrated the game as it has now, you played for pride. You played for self pride, you played for pride in your university. Do you think pro players play for pride in their teams? Maybe a little but they're looking for their next contract. A Washington Redskins player hates the Dallas coyboys until he's a free agent and Dallas ponies up a huge contract offer. Then he's a Cowboy for life. Money ruins things. Money is ruining college football. It's only going to get worse.

We Vol fans see him going to our biggest rival as him giving the finger to UT. He probably doesn’t see it that way and doesn’t care that we do. I’m sure other Vol players all see it differently probably depending on if they are good friends with him or not.

I also never wished any ill will upon him, but he has earned the ire of Vol Nation and he or anybody else shouldn't expect anything less, because SOME of us have something called PASSION. Arbitrary or not, it is what it is and it's real.
