Purely out of curiousity - what if in 2033, or whenever, those are her only 3 NCAAAPL scholarship offers and tuition in the future costs 1.5 bitcoins? My daughter plays softball. We've already had this conversation. If she's lucky enough to get picked up by a school, she is not allowed to play for GA, Fl, or Bama.
New job in porn?Faulty comparison fallacy. Getting a new job and moving on is nowhere in the same neighborhood as a college football player transferring to an age old rival.
Friend Leaving for New Job Conversation
"Hey man. I just got a big promotion to go work for XXX."
"That's great. I hate to lose you around here but that is a great move for your career. Good luck and let's stay in touch."
Friend Going to Hated Rival Football Program Conversation
"Hey man. I am going to transfer to one of the bitterest rivals to our current school. I know that we have struggled and fought together for two years now and things have been tough. Rather than stay here and continue to fight with my brothers, I am going to look out for myself and get mine. See ya later when my new school whips you guys next year."
"Go **** yourself and the horse you rode in on you disloyal selfish POS."
Also, for the record, do many of you not realize that being petty is one of the greatest characteristics of being a fan?
Where did I say friend got a promotion? Just bc a company may pay more commission doesn’t mean it’s a promotion.
And you left out the part where friend leaves to work for a company and directly competes with you.
Perhaps I should’ve explained more.
Sales. Friends. Coworkers. Position you compete directly against opens up. Your buddy applies bc he wants new leadership and gets it. You are now direct competitors fighting for the exact same business day in and day out calling on the exact same customers.
Now, are you an adult that can handle that situation or did your brain stop developing in elementary school?
Edit: I’m not saying your brain personally, that was just the point of my post
Ok. Parallel move for more pay. You never said anything about the direct competition so let's leave the goal posts where they were to begin with. My assessment stands. Plus are you a "Fan" aka Fanatic of your company. I like the company I work for but I don't spend my free time posting on a message board about people that we might be getting to come work for us or transfer from another company. I do my job to the best of my ability and then I go home. Your overall premise is flawed and your argument does not hold water.
Would you **** all over your HS and team and friends like Tutu? If not then you are not like most of your generation. You ever played a sport? Win?
4 HS state championships in a row say otherwise btw
Edit: Yeah, didn't think so. Pathetic
@Bassmaster_Vol wya? Taking you forever to come up with a reply
These last few generations are pathetic as a whole, but any generation will still have some outstanding people. I freely admit I am not as tough as the guys in the generations leading up to me...those generations literally changed the world.Says every generation about the one that follows them.
No one has ever had it harder than the generation that preceded yours, just ask them.
I don't think anyone congratulating him on this move is now somehow going to play less hard against Alabama in October.
The conversation I originally commented on was talking about players reaction to HT leaving, thus the whole “your buddy goes to work for a competitor”.
These players aren’t fanatics like the players that post here. They don’t feel the same way about it. That was the whole point of my post. Wish HT well and then to kick his azz.
