I would disown my son if he played at UGA, and then frame him for a crime.I'll be jumping up and down happy if my kids have SEC offers for whatever sport they play.. world class institutions from top to bottom.. I don;t think anyone is losing their Vol card for having to wear a UGA Uf or UA hat on Saturdays to support their kids..
I don't have a dog in this hunt but I kinda think HT just might want to have a chance to wear a National Championship Ring. By going to Bama, he has increased his chances 1000 fold. He may, or may not, be a factor in any of their games but everyone on the team gets a ring if they win it all.I just spoke with a "friend" that is a season ticket holder and has been for decades at that school down south and we briefly talked about the "transfer " from UT. This is his take and he is as up on their roster as many here are up on ours. He thinks HT will play but he will be used as a edge rusher and some in the middle. He doesn't think he be used anywhere near the way he was used here, as he said "We have to many Horses". Just relaying info from one of their more sane fans if there is such a thing.
That's just not rightI would wear UF/UGA/Bama underpants, eat a couple of Burrito Supremes from the sketchiest Taco Bell I can find, and then just mess all in them drawers.
LOL how do all y’all act when your buddy and co-worker accepts a new job? You cut that mofo out of your life and sh*t on him or are you an adult with a fully functioning brain?
Your fandom (all fan’s fandom) is seldom equivalent to how a player feels. Grow up you bunch of babies.
Wish him well and then go kick his azz. You can do both.
Dude retweeted this also:
We'd be so much better off if he'd just go ahead and transfer to FAU or somewhere.
I think this year is huge in that regard. I don’t think any of us, or maybe most of us have any delusions that we’re going to contend for the East, but if we can at least look good when we lose the games that we’re supposed to lose I think we’ll be in good shape.Thing is that Tennessee is at the point where they’re gonna have to have an HC that proves he can win some with what he’s got before he can attract the types of recruits you are talking about. But this is not new, it’s been like that for 15 years. This is why I was hoping for Petersen when they got Kiffin. Campbell is doing it, Franklin did it at Vandy. Coaches like that are rare, but they’re out there. Hopefully Huepel is that type of coach, it’s really our only hope.
Faulty comparison fallacy. Getting a new job and moving on is nowhere in the same neighborhood as a college football player transferring to an age old rival.
Friend Leaving for New Job Conversation
"Hey man. I just got a big promotion to go work for XXX."
"That's great. I hate to lose you around here but that is a great move for your career. Good luck and let's stay in touch."
Friend Going to Hated Rival Football Program Conversation
"Hey man. I am going to transfer to one of the bitterest rivals to our current school. I know that we have struggled and fought together for two years now and things have been tough. Rather than stay here and continue to fight with my brothers, I am going to look out for myself and get mine. See ya later when my new school whips you guys next year."
"Go **** yourself and the horse you rode in on you disloyal selfish POS."
Not even same stratosphere. Try Again.Where did I say friend got a promotion? Just bc a company may pay more commission doesn’t mean it’s a promotion.
And you left out the part where friend leaves to work for a company and directly competes with you.
Perhaps I should’ve explained more.
Sales. Friends. Coworkers. Position you compete directly against opens up. Your buddy applies bc he wants new leadership and gets it. You are now direct competitors fighting for the exact same business day in and day out calling on the exact same customers.
Now, are you an adult that can handle that situation or did your brain stop developing in elementary school?
