Every year at Father’s Day I just think of all the ways I’m not measuring up as a father. Kids didn’t get me anything or even make a a card this year. Just reinforces that twice as hard. I know the right things to say to myself, but …

Anyways, back to the game

Love your kids and do the best you can, that's enough. Remember they're kids. They don't have enough life experience yet to truly understand the importance of showing their love and appreciation. Remember your own youth, and how at that age, you tend to take things for granted that you regret in later life. If I could go back, I'd spend so much more time with my own dad.

Lord, empathy is amazing. If only we could employ it all the time. This is something I struggle with daily.

He will commit now….. get re-evaluated now that schools are opening up…… offered by bigger and better schools….. then everyone on volnation will freak out about possibly losing him….. it’s the volnation way.

Cliffs: Vols moved to the top of the list after his visit. The players that he met really like this staff. Said it was a family atmosphere where the previous staff was more like a military regime. I don't think he is the commitment that is expected today. He said he wants to take a few weeks to reflect and talk to his family.

Not sure why I'm just not that upset about this loss. Sure wish we'd won, but, VA pitching was simply outstanding.

good to hear. honesty goes a long way. I love to hear this staff quell the noise. Huepel cant recruit....
